Celebrating 250 Years of America the Beautiful... with Faith, Freedom & Patriotic Home Style

There’s something so timeless and beautiful about decorating your home in patriotic red, white, and blue, especially during a season filled with remembrance, celebration, and gratitude. This collage perfectly captures the heart of summer styling as we honor Memorial Day, celebrate the 4th of July, and joyfully say, Happy 250th Birthday, America!

As we mark America’s 250th Celebration, I wanted our home to reflect both charm and meaning. Using pieces from My Texas House decor from Walmart, I layered classic textures, sweet Americana patterns, and cozy touches that feel both welcoming and nostalgic. From the wreath adorned with flowing ribbons to the flag-inspired pillows, woven accents, and delicate dishware, every detail brings together that signature patriotic warmth. Whether it’s a wreath on the door, a table set for gathering, or a flag gently waving outside, every detail becomes a quiet reminder of the freedoms we enjoy daily.

Decorating for summer isn’t just about style; it’s about storytelling. The bold reds, crisp whites, and calming blues remind us of the courage, purity, and perseverance that built this country. They also remind us of the men and women who have fought, and continue to fight for our freedom.

As we celebrate this milestone birthday of our nation, I find myself reflecting on how blessed we are, not just to live in a free country, but to openly live out our faith. Freedom is never free, and I’m so thankful for those who have fought for it.

As you decorate your home this season, let it be more than just festive. Let it be filled with gratitude, remembrance, and faith. Whether you’re hosting a backyard gathering, setting a summer table, or simply adding a few patriotic touches, may your home reflect the blessing of freedom and the beauty of togetherness.

I also wanted to share about the American Reads the Bible Event... Christians Engaged and Great American Media Present: ‘America Reads the Bible’ – A Live, Historic Celebration of Faith and Freedom

The Bible-reading experience, which features participants from all 50 states and aims to inspire Americans to seek the Word daily, will be livestreamed from the Museum of the Bible on Great American Pure Flix. Click HERE to participate.

Held April 19–25, 2026, at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., the event will kick off with an opening celebration the night before, April 18, and will then be livestreamed over seven days from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Great American Pure Flix.

America Reads the Bible will feature influential voices – from well-known celebrities to ordinary people – representing all 50 states reading God’s Word in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.

I pray you all can listen, read aloud, and proclaim the powerful word of God in this historic mission to celebrate faith, family, and our country by bringing this national moment into every home.

Happy Blessed Easter... A Celebration of Resurrection, Renewal, and True Joy!

Easter is here... and I pray you all have a day filled with joy, hope, and the sweet promise of new life! It is the day we celebrate the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST, the victory over sin and death, and the incredible gift of salvation offered to each of us!

Of course, our home will be filled with family, laughter, gathering around the table, sharing a meal prepared with love, passing dishes and stories, searching for hidden eggs, baskets brimming with sweet surprises, and the blessing of just being together. These traditions are beautiful, meaningful, and full of joy, but they are reflections of something far greater.

At the center of it all is JESUS!

It is because of HIS sacrifice on the cross and HIS triumphant resurrection that we have hope. It is through HIM that we are given new life, a fresh start, and the promise of eternity. Easter is the ultimate reminder that no matter how dark things may seem, light always has the final word!

This day calls us back to what truly matters: faith that anchors us, peace that surpasses understanding, joy that cannot be shaken, and blessings that overflow not because of what we have done, but because of who HE is.

Easter is renewal.
Easter is redemption.
Easter is salvation.
Easter is JESUS!

And because HE lives, we can face tomorrow with confidence, knowing that we are held, loved, and made new in HIM.

“HE is not here; HE has risen, just as HE said.” Matthew 28:6

“Praise be to the GOD and Father of our LORD JESUS CHRIST! In His great mercy, HE has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3

“JESUS said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.’” John 11:25

There’s something so sacred about this time of year as a farm family that puts their trust in the LORD. Spring doesn’t just show up...it gently reminds us of GOD’s faithfulness in every detail. The soil softens and comes alive again, and is ready to be planted. In these quiet, everyday moments, we’re reminded that HE is always making things new.

It’s in this season of renewal that our hearts feel especially full, grateful for fresh starts, for growth we can see, and growth we trust is happening beneath the surface, and for the beautiful reminder that life, in all its forms, is a gift from HIM.

This Easter, as you gather with family and friends, I hope you feel the joy of the LORD, and may this season bring you renewal, peace, and many blessings. When JESUS gave HIS life for us, HE crushed sin & defeated death on our behalf.

Happy Blessed Easter, Everyone!
