Little House on the Prairie Inspired Fashion: A Timeless Style That Never Goes Out of Fashion

There's something so comforting about "Little House on the Prairie." It reminds us that beauty doesn't have to be flashy, life doesn't have to be hurried, and the sweetest moments are often found in the simple things. With the debut of the new "Little House on the Prairie" series, I couldn't help but feel inspired to gather together some modern prairie looks that capture the charm, femininity, and timeless style that made so many of us fall in love with Walnut Grove.

I've grown to love the original "Little House on the Prairie through reruns over the years. There is something so peaceful about stepping back into Laura and Mary's world... a place where faith, family, hard work, and kindness were at the heart of every story.

While fashion has certainly changed over the years, prairie-inspired style has never really gone away. Soft florals, delicate lace, smocked dresses, gingham prints, embroidered details, bows, and vintage-inspired accessories remain among my favorite looks.

Nikki DeLoach’s Fashion Journey in The Greek Aisle

If there’s one thing I love almost as much as a Hallmark romance, it’s the fashion that comes along for the ride, and The Greek Aisle delivered both beautifully! As a longtime Hallmark favorite, Nikki DeLoach once again brought warmth, charm, and effortless style to the screen.

From breezy Mediterranean prints to soft floral embroidery and cozy cardigans layered over vacation ready dresses, Nikki's wardrobe was a perfect reflection of the movie itself—beautiful, uplifting, and full of heart. Every look felt like it belonged in a postcard from Greece!

Memorial Day Weekend: Patriotic Décor, Grateful Hearts & Faith in Freedom

As Memorial Day weekend arrives, our hearts turn toward gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy, the brave men and women who gave everything to protect them, and the blessing of living in this beautiful country we call home. There is something so special about decorating our homes in red, white, and blue this time of year. From gingham bows and Americana baskets to stars, stripes, and vintage-inspired touches, patriotic décor reminds us of the beauty of tradition, family gatherings, and celebrating freedom together. Celebrating 250 Years of America the Beautiful... with Faith, Freedom & Patriotic Home Style

There’s something so timeless and beautiful about decorating your home in patriotic red, white, and blue, especially during a season filled with remembrance, celebration, and gratitude. This collage perfectly captures the heart of summer styling as we honor Memorial Day, celebrate the 4th of July, and joyfully say, Happy 250th Birthday, America!

As we mark America’s 250th Celebration, I wanted our home to reflect both charm and meaning. Using pieces from My Texas House decor from Walmart, I layered classic textures, sweet Americana patterns, and cozy touches that feel both welcoming and nostalgic. From the wreath adorned with flowing ribbons to the flag-inspired pillows, woven accents, and delicate dishware, every detail brings together that signature patriotic warmth. The Bible-reading experience, which features participants from all 50 states and aims to inspire Americans to seek the Word daily, will be livestreamed from the Museum of the Bible on Great American Pure Flix. Click HERE to participate.

Happy Blessed Easter... A Celebration of Resurrection, Renewal, and True Joy!

Easter is here... and I pray you all have a day filled with joy, hope, and the sweet promise of new life! It is the day we celebrate the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST, the victory over sin and death, and the incredible gift of salvation offered to each of us!

Of course, our home will be filled with family, laughter, gathering around the table, sharing a meal prepared with love, passing dishes and stories, searching for hidden eggs, baskets brimming with sweet surprises, and the blessing of just being together. These traditions are beautiful, meaningful, and full of joy, but they are reflections of something far greater.

At the center of it all is JESUS!

It is because of HIS sacrifice on the cross and HIS triumphant resurrection that we have hope. It is through HIM that we are given new life, a fresh start, and the promise of eternity. Easter is the ultimate reminder that no matter how dark things may seem, light always has the final word!

This day calls us back to what truly matters: faith that anchors us, peace that surpasses understanding, joy that cannot be shaken, and blessings that overflow not because of what we have done, but because of who HE is.

Easter is renewal.
Easter is redemption.
Easter is salvation.
Easter is JESUS!

And because HE lives, we can face tomorrow with confidence, knowing that we are held, loved, and made new in HIM.

There’s something so sacred about this time of year as a farm family that puts their trust in the LORD. Spring doesn’t just show up...it gently reminds us of GOD’s faithfulness in every detail. The soil softens and comes alive again, and is ready to be planted. In these quiet, everyday moments, we’re reminded that HE is always making things new.

It’s in this season of renewal that our hearts feel especially full, grateful for fresh starts, for growth we can see, and growth we trust is happening beneath the surface, and for the beautiful reminder that life, in all its forms, is a gift from HIM.

This Easter, as you gather with family and friends, I hope you feel the joy of the LORD, and may this season bring you renewal, peace, and many blessings. When JESUS gave HIS life for us, HE crushed sin & defeated death on our behalf.
