Merry CHRISTmas Everyone🎄

“And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger because there was no place for them in the inn.” Luke 2:6-7

Salvation was born. A baby in a manger wrapped in swaddling clothes, came to earth so tiny but with a big purpose to save you and me! The Greatest Gift we could ask for and receive was given to us all when Jesus Christ our Saviour was Born!!!

Of course, we all celebrate because Santa has come Christmas Morning, but we Rejoice, Rejoice because Jesus came that first Christmas!

This Christmas season we have decorated our trees, strung lights, shopped for gifts, had ugly sweater parties, baked cookies all to create memories, enjoy joyful times and traditions with the ones we love.

We gather Christmas morning and open gifts to show our love towards others and to celebrate the greatest gift, Jesus!

I pray that on Christmas day we unwrap and revel today in the love of God and His grace fills you with infinite joy, blesses your life with every good thing, and promises perfect peace in the new year! Our family always gathers to read Luke 2 and we stop just for the moment and remember what this season brings, yes there is Santa Claus, presents, carols, but the best and most wonderful gift... is JESUS and the good news that he gave us. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. Blessings to you all this Holy Joyous Season! I want to thank you all for visiting, sharing, and supporting my blog. It means so much! I am so grateful! I pray you all feel His Love this Christmas, and enjoy the simple things, and always spread the true JOY and LOVE of Christmas... JESUS!

Luke 2:1-14 (KJV)

1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.

2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.

As Linus tells Charlie Brown...That is what Christmas is all about!!!
