Get the Lʘʘk: Jessica Lowndes' & Trevor Donovan's Fashion in Great American Family's "A Harvest Homecoming"

Jessica Lowndes and Trevor Donovan will star in a new Fall movie on Great American Family. A Harvest Homecoming premieres September 30th. You don't want to miss out on this reunion of Jessica & Trevor (90210 Alums Teddy and Adrianna) in this heartfelt family movie! This movie and others kick off Great American Family's fall movie lineup. This movie centers around an apple orchard farm, so our family can relate, and it is perfect to be part of the Great American Autumn. It may be my pick to be my favorite from their fall movies...we shall see.




Storyline: In A Harvest Homecoming, teacher Drew Granger (Donovan) accepts a temporary substitute job in his old hometown of Chestnut Hollow, Texas, where he meets Aiden, the proverbial new kid at school, desperate for a caring friend. While he would rather have taken a job anywhere else, Drew reconsiders Chestnut Hollow when he meets Lainie Abbott (Lowndes), the new manager of his parents' massive apple orchard and cider mill business, and more importantly, Aiden's mom.



I have been so excited to share Jessica and Trevor's fashion from the movie and some festive fall pieces as well. I have seen a lot of apples this season on clothing and accessories. Whether it be on sweaters, tees, etc., it seems to be the trend for fall! We have Honeycrisp apple trees on our farm, and we love picking and cooking with them yearly. We make homemade apple pies and slow-cooked stewed apples, both without sugar. We sometimes add a little maple syrup and cinnamon to give the apples more flavor and sweetness... organic farm-to-table. Just so good!🍎

The time of year is here, when everything is Merry & Bright!!! There is always a spirit of joy and happiness that Christmas brings that makes us all Merry & all the lights that make everything Bright! At our house we decorate inside and out. My Momma always says..."The whole world should light up at Christmas time, for Jesus!" I am known as the "Light Girl", I love putting as many lights up outside to bring joy to others when they drive by. I know one year a lady we know said that when they drive by our house her son always says... "Here comes Candy Cane Lane." So, now each year when we begin decorating outside, we all recall that sweet moment. That is what Christmas is, making wonderful memories and making each day Merry & Bright! Be sure to catch the Candy Cane drama this Saturday, November 2nd, as Hallmark Channel is making things even brighter with a new movie, "Merry & Bright", starring Jodie Sweetin and Andrew Walker. On the 2nd day of Christmas, my true love gave to me..."Two Turtle Doves" and a new movie Friday November 1st, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. This movie starring Nikki Deloach and Michael Rady show us that miracles Do happen at Christmas. Share in the tradition that the 12 days of Christmas brings to everyone each year, with these wonderful timeless pieces.



When I think of "Two Turtle Doves", I think of "Home Alone 2" and this sweet endearing quote from the movie..."Turtle doves are a symbol of friendship and love. Keep one, and give the other to a very special person. As long as each of you has your turtle dove, you will be friends forever.” I personally have these ornaments and love hanging them on the our tree and remember such a lovely moment in the scenes from the movie.









I know each year; we all are on the hunt for great gifts for Christmas! Well, Hallmark Channel is on a hunt of their own with, "A Christmas Scavenger Hunt," November 3rd, starring When Calls the Heart, Kevin McGarry. We shall see if his Mountie skills will be helpful on the hunt. The movie is centered around the town's annual scavenger hunt. The fun begins when two old flames are teamed up, and you guessed it...while hunting, sparks are rekindled. This movie should be so fun to watch. To make your Christmas a bit more exciting, I have included some fun Christmas games to play with your family this holiday season. Plus, some great gift ideas and some fun things inspired by the movie.







In "A Christmas Scavenger Hunt", Belinda(Kim Shaw) and Dustin(Kevin McGarry) solve clues, take selfies, and have a little gingerbread house making fun! Here are a couple sweet choices for you to try.
