Lacey does have a real-life new movie release, her 41st movie, "An Unexpected Valentine," co-starring Robert Buckley, premiering on the Hallmark Channel on February 1st. The synopsis of this movie sounds really fun & cute... I love a great race against time mystery! I can't wait to watch this with my besties this weekend. A Galentine's Movie Night! Grab the popcorn!

Cold Hands, Warm Hearts Fashion Accessories

The frigid cold temps are back—brrr! We had been blessed with a couple of days in the mid-30s, but today, that all changed back to the teens, and then we will see single digits for several days. Oh my, the Polar Vortex is here for sure!!! January has been a cold and snowy one here in the Midwest. I pray that so many who have to be outside can find shelter in these bitter cold temperatures.

Cozy New Winter Pajamas

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, and relaxing in your pajamas sounds delightful... and Since there is no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Snowed in like we are or just want to get cozy... my go-to outfit is pajamas/loungewear. It feels like we are in a snow globe; it's beautiful! I have seen on social that several states are getting snow this weekend, and many are excited about it because it is a rarity to see in the southern half. We have gotten around 5 inches so far on top of what we got last weekend, so it is clear to say everything is covered in white... God's amazing artwork! But it is so hard to feel such joy right now seeing the devastation in California. My heart just breaks for them, and I pray God will rain down on them literally and give them hope, peace, and strength during this time!

On a lighter note, I've rounded up some cute new pajamas that will be great for these long, grey winter days.

New Year... New Post ... New Inspiration

Happy Monday. It's nice to be back after a long Christmas break. I have been posting to my LTK shop during the holidays but took a short break from my blog. You can check out my LTK HERE to see what I have been posting—lots of fashions seen in Hallmark movies!

I can't believe the holidays are over, and we are back to a normal week. This is nice in some ways, but I miss all the magic the season brings.

So, what should I post this new year? I listened to our local Christian station this morning, and they talked about how today, Jan 6th, feels like the start of the new year. One said it was just another Monday morning, but the other stated something that stuck with me. A fresh new year and the start of a new week, the dreaded Monday as many would say, but he said to think of it this way... 52 Mondays of new sunrises, 52 Mondays of growing closer to God, 52 Mondays full of possibilities and promises, and 52 Mondays of sharing more time with family and friends.

Well, this inspired me to bring more of God into our home this year, with Bible Study together, decorating with Inspiring Home Decor, and more!

Our family is diving into the Book of Mark to start this new year. We have been following this Bible Study for a while, enjoying the explanations and digging deeper into each chapter we read. Click HERE for this incredible Bible Study.

Come Home For Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Where did December go? I felt like we just decorated our tree, and now we will be gathering around it soon. Like many of you are, we are so busy getting gifts wrapped and cookies made. We made sugar-free Christmas-shaped cookies this year, and they are so good... (I will include the recipe below), and checking our lists twice to make sure we have everything done! In the business of getting everything done, we had our radio going, playing Christmas carols, and Matthew West’s song “Come Home For Christmas” came on, and I just stopped and was still and listened to the words. The lyrics in that song are so touching, but one particular line always stands out to me... "How long has it been Since you and your heart talked to Jesus?" With all the decorating, shopping, and festivities, I always want to take time and remember why we celebrate... Jesus! We have gathered each evening and read a chapter of Luke to follow the journey of Jesus and the gift of salvation he gave us! It is the most wonderful time of the year, making memories and holding onto ones that are so dear!

I pray you all can be with family and friends this Christmas, make memories that will be treasured forever, and Be Still & Come Home to Jesus!
