If you've been watching Hallmark this January, you've probably been enjoying their "New Year New Movies"... I kinda miss Winterfest, just saying. As I am creating this post, it is snowing outside... we may get 8 inches!!! I love watching it fall it feels like I am in the middle of a snowglobe. So, how fitting to be working on a post about a winter movie and fashion. Of course, I am always on the lookout for fashion in these new movies, and if you are, too, you're in luck, because I was able to find some of Alexa Penavega's exact pieces she wears in the movie, "Taking a Shot At Love." I've also included some similar styles, as well, due to the fact that some items have sold out... bummer, right? I really loved Alexa's style in this movie... flowy, light, romantic, and feminine. I also loved how her home decor still felt like Christmas with all of the lights. She had so many cute, cozy sweaters, coats, and accessories in this movie. I wanted to share with you all the scripture that Alexa has on her Instagram... Philippians 4:13. This is one of my favorite scriptures as well. I picked this scripture because it relates to the movie. "Taking a Shot at Love" is all about coming back from an injury and is great in capturing the spirit of a fresh start. Philippians 4:13 tells us that we can conquer all through Christ because HE is with us and is always strengthing us through every situation. This scripture always comes to my mind and always gives me peace! I am so thankful to have God's Word!
