Summer is finally here; it doesn't officially start until Thursday, but the heat has already arrived! It's in the mid-90s here, but it could be 100 because it is so hot! I love spending Father's Day with my Daddy and all my family! We always prepare him a big meal of his favorites. Each day with my Daddy is so special! He is a hard-working farmer who works with his hands every day and depends on our heavenly Father to bless his fields each season. As a farmer, you have to trust God each year, and I know that my Daddy does. My Daddy has taughtme how to be strong, patient, and kind. Those traits are truly a gift that he has shown me and my siblings through his walk with God daily. It has been such a blessing to have a Godly father to lead our home. I also look to my heavenly Father each day as well read his word and try to walk with him each day. I treasure my relationship with my Daddy very much! I love you, and thank you for everything!!! Hey, Ladies, it is time to get that summer tan on. Warm weather means shorts, sleeveless tops, summer dresses, and so on, and I want to have some color and a good glow to my skin. I don't know about you, but it makes me feel better. I like to get some of God's natural sun and all the health benefits it offers, but sometimes, there isn't enough time, and a self-tanner is a great option.
I recently went to reorder my go-to self-tanner, and they don't make it anymore, so I began the search and found that they aren't easy to find. There are so many sunless tanners out there that are filled with nasty ingredients that can disrupt your whole body, even your hormones. Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Petroleum, Synthetic Dyes/Fragrances, Triclosan, Gluten, and so on. Most self-tanners on the market are pretty toxic and not something I'd want to try or use. So, when I created this post, I only wanted to share with you all clean self-tanners that won't harm you but make you feel good! Again, it is not easy to find 10, but I have found a few that work well. Also, all the self-tanners but 1 listed below are available at Amazon, which is great if you have Amazon Prime and need a tan fast!
1. Beauty by Earth is my new self-tanner. I love it and am happy my other brand was discontinued because I like this one even more. Not only because it is the cleanness self-tanner out there but also because it is free of everything that has the potential to harm your health and is made in the USA. It has the best organic ingredients and looks very natural. I always use non-latex gloves to apply mine, so I don't get the palms of my hands dark. Beauty by Earth comes in different shades and in a mousse or lotion. It has a very light, pleasing smell, lasting 3 to 4 days. I ordered the Beauty by Earth Self Tanner Lotion in Medium to Dark, and the color was quite lovely and not too dark for me.
2. Eco Tan is another excellent choice. It is an Australian-made organic company offering different vegan options for self-tanners.
3. COOLA Organic Sunless Self Tanner is an organic sunless tanning lotion that delivers a gradual glow while visibly toning and tightening, which is so lovely.
You can build a tan over several days and give your skin more hydration as well.
4. SUNTEGRITY Moisturizing Self Tanner provides skin with a natural-looking tan without the unpleasant fake-tanner smell by utilizing revolutionary ferment technology along with a natural wild strawberry fragrance. The non-greasy formula is infused with a combination of sweet almond, sunflower, coconut, and rose hip oils and shea and mango seed butter to moisturize and hydrate skin, leaving it soft and supple.
5. Alba Botanica Sunless Tanner is a quick-absorbing formula that is a non-streaking buildable tan that starts developing in less than three hours.
