Hello Summer!!! Fashion to Beat the Heat

Summer is finally here; it doesn't officially start until Thursday, but the heat has already arrived! It's in the mid-90s here, but it could be 100 because it is so hot! Lightweight fashion is a must for me during a heat wave... cotton and gauze are great fabrics to wear on a hot day! I like to stay cool and comfy yet fashionable, modest,  and stylish, and of course, not look like I am melting, which can be hard to do. Below are some of my summer fashion picks perfect for sunny, hot days.

Memorial Day Weekend ~ Red, White, & New Summer Arrivals

On this Memorial Day Weekend, I want to thank the strong, courageous sacrifices all our armed forces have made for our country. We truly can not comprehend the impact they have made for America. I pray that as we gather this weekend with family and friends, we will always remember and pay respect. The honor of just one weekend is not enough for what they have all paid to make us free. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer. I am thankful to spend the long weekend with my family. I know many of you will be attending picnics, family get-togethers, traveling, and so on. It is supposed to be very stormy here, so our plans may have to change, but I will be styling red, white, & blues no matter what. I have found some new summer arrivals that will be great to wear all summer long, and many of the stores are having great sales this weekend as well. Now is a great time to stock up and update your summer wardrobe. I share some of my favorites below.
