Fall fashion is rolling in every store. Below are my favorite picks to transition into fall: warm tones, sweaters, jackets, and classic, timeless pieces and layers that will get you ready when the season changes. I love summer fashions, but these new fall pieces excite me for cooler weather.

I can't believe summer is almost over. It feels like it just began, and I still have so many outdoor projects before the chill sets in. We just had our house reroofed. What a painstaking, hot job for these men to do. I watched in amazement how hard they worked. It is a nice feeling that it is done, and it looks great. Now, onto the next project.

Summer is finally here; it doesn't officially start until Thursday, but the heat has already arrived! It's in the mid-90s here, but it could be 100 because it is so hot! Lightweight fashion is a must for me during a heat wave... cotton and gauze are great fabrics to wear on a hot day! I like to stay cool and comfy yet fashionable, modest,  and stylish, and of course, not look like I am melting, which can be hard to do. Inspiring Mother's Day Gifts

Mother's Day is less than 2 weeks away, and so I wanted to share with you all some inspiring gift ideas for them. DaySpring has some lovely & fun pieces that will show her how much she is loved.

God created mothers because he could not be present everywhere. Mothers are so special because they are an extension of God. They work around the clock without any complaints to keep us happy. Mothers are one of the sweetest gifts from God to us. They are so unique and super special in their own loving way. I know my Momma has always been my constant... always doing for me and my siblings and being there for everything! As Proverbs 1:8 & 29:15 teaches us, mothers are to point children toward Christ by praying for them, modeling faith and character, and training them in wisdom. And my Precious Momma did that for us; she gave all of herself to make us happy everyday and she teached us and guided us to know Jesus, and I am so grateful! I can't give her enough for what she did for us, it is immeasurable! She is my best friend, and I love her so much!

New Year, New Fashion to Start the Year off Right!

Happy New Year, Everyone. I pray you all had a wonderful Christmas. It was such a blessing to be together and celebrate His Birth. Of course, it went by way too fast, as always!

I love this time of newness and stillness after a busy holiday season. It is also a great time to refresh and renew! With a couple weeks off, I am back at my daily workouts. It feels good to get back in the groove. I have also had some time to browse one of my favorite stores, Loft, which I knew would have new arrivals at the first of the year! I really love their Lou & Grey line for lounge and activewear. They are comfortable, affordable, and cute!
