I love spending Father's Day with my Daddy and all my family! We always prepare him a big meal of his favorites. Each day with my Daddy is so special! He is a hard-working farmer who works with his hands every day and depends on our heavenly Father to bless his fields each season. As a farmer, you have to trust God each year, and I know that my Daddy does. My Daddy has taughtme how to be strong, patient, and kind. Those traits are truly a gift that he has shown me and my siblings through his walk with God daily. It has been such a blessing to have a Godly father to lead our home. I also look to my heavenly Father each day as well read his word and try to walk with him each day. I treasure my relationship with my Daddy very much! I love you, and thank you for everything!!! Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! Once again, my sweet Momma, Sister and I are cooking and preparing for Thanksgiving. I don't consider it a chore but a treasured time spent with my 2 best friends!

We are cooking chicken hens instead of turkey, pies, cornbread dressing, broccoli casserole, and more! Oh, boy, the kitchen smells good... I so wish I could share the wonderful aroma with you all!

We are fixing many of the traditional dishes that have been in our family for generations. While preparing the food, so many memories flood my mind of such precious times that I wish I could go back to so I could hold onto loved ones who are not with us! Those memories are one of the things I am so thankful for this holiday season!

What a blessing it is to be surrounded by my family, looking around that table and seeing everyone's faces. Thank you, Lord! As we celebrate Thanksgiving and gather with family & friends...let us be thankful for one another, enjoy one another, love one another, treasure one another...and let us always be grateful for the One that saved us all...Jesus...the abundance of God, and may His love fill your heart this holiday season to come!

I pray all of you can gather with the ones you love. I wanted to personally thank you all. I am grateful to have met so many wonderful friends!

My prayer this Thanksgiving is that God will bless us with HIS joy, hope, peace, and love! May we all give thanks in all we do and be grateful for what we have, giving thanks for God's many wonderful blessings!

Happy Thanksgiving to You All!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! Just busy in the kitchen with my Momma & Sister cooking and preparing for family coming in. The pies are made, and the turkey is in the oven as we speak. We are fixing many dishes that have been in our family for years...my Ma-Ma's(Grandmother) Cornbread Dressing, my Aunt's Brocolli Casserole, my dish that is requested each year...southern country casserole, and always a crowd pleaser Green Bean Casserole. So many fixings and the kitchen smells amazing. I wish there was a way I could share that with you all too!

What a blessing it is to be surrounded by my family. Looking around that table and seeing everyone's faces, I am so thankful! Father's Day is this Sunday, and I wanted to share with you all my top picks from Amazon. Amazon has some great options for Father's Day this year... from tools and mowers to grilling and the latest sports gear, the choices are endless and if your a Prime Member it will arrive at your door in 2 days, which is great! I definitely take advange of that for many holiday and events last minute finds!

I love spending the day with my Daddy and family on Father's Day! We have the silly traditions that we do and mean so much every year! Each day with my Daddy is so special! He is a hard-working farmer, that works with his hands every day and depends on our heavenly Father to bless his fields each season. As a farmer, you have to trust God each year and I know that my Daddy does. It has been such a blessing to have a Godly father to lead our home. He can fix anything, which is a wonderful blessing, and I have helped him on several projects and learned along the way, which is so nice. He is very patient with me, which is just one of the qualities I value the most in him. I look to my heavenly Father each day as well and read his word and try to walk with him each day. I treasure my relationship with my Daddy very much! I love you and thank you for everything!!!

My Picks & Tips for an Outdoor Summer Family Movie Night

Recently, my family and I were driving through our local town square, and noticed an outdoor movie screen, next to the gazebo. They were all set up with their chairs and selling popcorn, and with my window down it smelled so good! Just driving through town, gave me a great idea for a post and an excuse to shop. So, I thought why not recreate that same thing in our own backyard, with family and friends. I know everyone is always trying to figure out ways to have a good time outdoors and this activity is good for any age. Having a movie night under the stars would be so great, don’t you think? Amazon has some nice options from movie screens, which can be pricey, but I did find some below that were reasonably priced. I decided though, I would make a movie screen out of a white sheet. I found by simply tying two knots at the top and bottom of a king white bed sheet, hooking on some rope or bungee cords, finding the perfect tree, and making sure the sheet is tight for a smooth screen viewing worked out perfectly. To added comfort for everyone I brought out pillows, blankets and hung some outdoor lanterns and string lights. Below I share some of my picks along with my latest favorite movies that would be great to watch on a summer night. Hope you all enjoyed this post. It was fun to put together and hopefully, it can bring some wonderful memories for you all! You know Summer is just beginning and there’s a whole lotta time for some outdoor fun so get outside and make it happen!
