Hello Cozy PJ's Season!



The chill is in the air; all you want to do is stay in and get cozy. We were blessed with several inches of snow overnight. Everything outside is beautifully decorated with God's creation. It's just breathtaking!

So, why not make the best of it while being snowed in and set up a cozy night by lighting a fire, watching a movie, popcorn, and some warm cocoa, and getting ready for some coziness?

Going out is fun, but nothing is as wonderful as being snowed in with family, curling up at home, and simply relaxing. Below, you will see some cute yet stylish loungewear and pajamas to get comfy! My Picks & Tips for an Outdoor Summer Family Movie Night

Recently, my family and I were driving through our local town square, and noticed an outdoor movie screen, next to the gazebo. They were all set up with their chairs and selling popcorn, and with my window down it smelled so good! Just driving through town, gave me a great idea for a post and an excuse to shop. So, I thought why not recreate that same thing in our own backyard, with family and friends. I know everyone is always trying to figure out ways to have a good time outdoors and this activity is good for any age. Having a movie night under the stars would be so great, don’t you think? Amazon has some nice options from movie screens, which can be pricey, but I did find some below that were reasonably priced. I decided though, I would make a movie screen out of a white sheet. I found by simply tying two knots at the top and bottom of a king white bed sheet, hooking on some rope or bungee cords, finding the perfect tree, and making sure the sheet is tight for a smooth screen viewing worked out perfectly. To added comfort for everyone I brought out pillows, blankets and hung some outdoor lanterns and string lights. Below I share some of my picks along with my latest favorite movies that would be great to watch on a summer night. Hope you all enjoyed this post. It was fun to put together and hopefully, it can bring some wonderful memories for you all! You know Summer is just beginning and there’s a whole lotta time for some outdoor fun so get outside and make it happen!

A Dash of Love in the Kitchen

Hello Ladies, I hope you all had a blessed weekend. My heart has been with everyone affected by the winter's storms last week. We got 12 plus inches of snow here, along with freezing temperatures but we are slowly starting to melt. I have family and friends in Texas that are thankfully safe and well, but it so sad to see all the troubles others are facing. I pray God will be with them and help them through this time! I also hope you all are safe and warm! 



Needless to say, being snowed in means a lot of cooking at home, and I just came across a really cute line of retro kitchen appliances and it brightened my day! I just wanted to share it with you all. Dash appliances are stylish and look like something you would see in your grandmother's kitchen. There are so many cute items from this brand I couldn't stop adding them to my wish list! These adorable appliances will make cooking in the kitchen fun and colorful!
