You all know it is Fall when the leaves start to turn, the crisp air begins, Thanksgiving & Christmas decorations and preparations begin, and everything is Pumpkin... Pumpkin Spice, Pumpkin Patch, and Pumpkin Carving. But, there is one pumpkin we all eagerly wait for all year round, and that’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

I don’t know about you, but Charlie Brown, along with Linus, Sally, Lucy, Snoopy, and the whole Peanuts Gang, has always been a tradition in my family, and still is. I always remember watching this classic with my siblings...what sweet memories! So, good news, this year the search for the great pumpkin is over, the classic animation by Charles M. Schulz will air on ABC... October 22nd and 27th at 8pm. Yeah!!! What a wonderful legacy Charles M. Shulz left us...it wouldn't be a holiday without watching one of these Peanuts classics!

This verse reminds me of our faith in Christ and how Linus believes the Great Pumpkin will raise out of the pumpkin patch every year. Linus tries to get the others to believe. He has great faith that The Great Pumpkin will come and bring something special. He shows boldness by trying to share it with the rest of the Peanut gang. Linus is a great example of how much faith we should have in Jesus. Doing all we can to make others have faith and believe in Jesus like he did, is what we are to do as Christians. Linus knew the Great Pumpkin would bring special things and he cared for his friends and didn’t want them left out. This why we need to share Jesus with our friends and family. Jesus is the greatest relationship that anyone can have. We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus!
