There are 2 scriptures from the Bible, that are Candace's favorites. When she feels overwhelmed and needs a reminder to be kind, she looks to the Bible for guidance.
First, 2 Corinthians 12:9, is something the actress says she can “ingest” all day long as a reminder that God’s kindness will help carry her when she is weak.
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
Next, Ephesians 4:32. Which always reminds her to practice forgiveness.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
