Every July 4th we celebrate with American flags and red, white, and blue. .. but what do these colors stand for and mean. The flag of the United States of America is a symbol of freedom and liberty. When I was in grade school each day began with the pledge of allegiance. Standing at attention, with reverence and facing the flag with my right hand over my heart, and reciting: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." It was a simple daily act that taught me as a child the tradition of the flag and the respect we are to have for it. It is so sad and shameful to see the decline of that today! In 1777, the Continental Congress passed a resolution “that the flag of the thirteen United States is thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union is thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation.” Since that time, generations of Americans have celebrated the flag as a symbol of our God-given freedoms and God-blessed nation. 13 stripes: The seven red and six white horizontal stripes represent the original 13 colonies. The colors of the flag are symbolic as well; red symbolizes hardiness and valor, the bloodshed by many to keep our country free, white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance, and justice. I pray we can be "One Nation Under God Again!"

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND - REMEMBERING THOSE WHO SERVED, FAMILY GATHERINGS, SALES & MORE...HELLO SUMMER!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday weekend! I pray many of you can get together with your family and friends. This weekend is a time to be thankful for our freedoms that so many have died and fought for and still do... We Honor All Who Have Served! We should always remember our fallen soldiers and pray for those who are serving today! I am so thankful to live in this nation where I can live by my religious freedom and honor those who have fought for it and found America on Biblical values. We need God in America more than ever today! I just read this chapter today and wanted to share this verse, that many of you may know, but rings so true today. 2 Chronicles 7:14... "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." God Bless America! THANK YOU ALL FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY! God Bless You!

Many of you will be enjoying the outdoors and barbequing, but don't forget there are some great sales this weekend online!
