Hallmark's Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy & Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays🎄 Advent Calendars & More Decor Seen in the Movies!!!

I can't believe we are already ready to start using our advent calendars...Wow this holiday season is going by way too fast. I want to hold on to each day and of course, wishing it could last forever!

So, to bring the anticipation of Christmas to your house, and incorporate a little surprise into each day of the holiday season... these charming Christmas Countdown Calendars featured in 2 Hallmark movies will do just that. I personally have the one from the movie... Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy. It is just beautiful and even more amazing when lit. We have decided to fill the drawers with a Christmas Memory or Scripture from the Bible to lead us up to Christmas Day! You can also fill them with candy treats, toy treasures or inspirational messages to be revealed every day until December 25. LED lights illuminate both of these wooden advent calendars. The fun family activity also makes a sophisticated addition to your holiday decor. So, Countdown to a Christmas with Hallmark and a Advent Calendar until Christmas Day!

The Christmas in Evergreen Advent Calendar is inspired by Hallmark artist Geoff Greenleaf. His illustration's bring to life the magical town of Evergreen, from his Christmas Cards. Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy is the third movie installment of the Christmas stories based on the collection of fine art by Geoff Greenleaf. Be sure to watch this beloved sequel Friday, November 29th on Hallmark. Check out my Sister's website... It's A Wonderful Movie for more info on the movie and encore airings for all the movies.

I know many of you may have watched the second installment of Christmas in Graceland...I loved hearing Elvis's timeless Christmas music in the movie. I also loved the Advent Calendar Harper gave the children in the movie as well... it was so enchanting. It just so happens, I was able to find the exact one from the movie. It has the winter village scene on top, beautifully adorned numbered drawers, it lights up, Santa with his sleigh, and reindeer in the center, but unfortunately, it does not play music like it does in the movie. It was movie magic that played the music box songs in the movie...just like the snow they use. I sure wish it did play music, but it was fitting to the movie theme to make it sound like it did. You could always sing a Christmas carol each time your family opens a drawer...that would be even more wonderful, and a sweet memory, too!

Here are the Bible Verse Advent Cards you can use in your Advent Calendar... That will tell of the coming and birth of our Savior Jesus Christ!

I also wanted to share other items available in the Christmas in Evergreen Collection with you, too!

The Snowmen Bell Choir that will be featured in the Hallmark Channel original movie, It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, beginning on Dec 22. I know the POstables will enjoy seeing Eric Mabius again on the small screen. I sure wish Hallmark would play Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas... It is one of my favorites. I am so glad I have it on DVD. *Click Here to get your own DVD*. It shows the true meaning of Christmas... Celebrating the Birth of Jesus!

Fill your home with the festive sounds of a holiday bell choir chiming from these charming porcelain snowmen. Each hand-painted, sculpted bell plays a classic Christmas song while the collection of snowmen performs a synchronized light show of warm, glowing colors. Arrange the pretty, wireless pieces around the room—or together as a tabletop chorus—and control them with the included remote to create a magical holiday experience.

Snowmen play five classic holiday songs...
Wrapped present snowman plays "Jingle Bells."
Candle snowman plays "Silent Night."
North Star snowman plays "Carol of the Bells."
Wreath snowman plays "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."
Holly snowman plays "Ding Dong Merrily on High."

I hope you enjoy these timeless traditional Christmas decor...and start Counting down to Christmas with Advent Calendars and Hallmark movies, too!

Our family each year at Christmas have an Advent Wreath. We celebrate the four Sundays before Christmas as a means of preparing our hearts for the miraculous birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We light the candles and read Scriptures. As the candles are lit, the Christmas story unfolds from Isaiah to the second chapter of Luke. The Old Testament points to the promise of a Savior.

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace "
Isaiah 9: 6

The wreath is always in the shape of a circle to represent God's eternity, His unending nature. The evergreens symbolize life. We as Christians have eternal life once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Nestled inside the wreath of evergreens are five candles, each representing a significant aspect of the Christmas story. The first three candles are purple to represent preparation, the fourth candle is pink to represent joy, and the last is white to represent Christ. Each candle also has an individual meaning.

*On the first Sunday of advent, the candle of prophecy and preparation is lit.

*On the second Sunday, family members light the candle of proclamation, remembering the angels who announced the Savior.

*The third week, we emphasize anticipation. For hundreds of years, godly men and women awaited the presence of the King. And what a joy it was for the lowly shepherds who first experienced the joyous news of Christ's birth.

After the three weeks of preparation, the joy of the coming Savior is celebrated with a pink candle. On this Sunday, we remember the expectation Mary felt as she had Emmanuel, God with us, pressing at her womb.

*On Christmas Eve, one last candle, the white candle, is lighted. Often the biggest of the five candles and centered in the middle of the wreath, this Christ candle marks the culmination of the promise of a coming Savior. Celebrate the occasion with family prayer time, acknowledging the light of Christ not only in the world, but also in our hearts. On Christmas Eve, as that last candle is lit, remember the words of Scripture, Christ in you, the hope of glory!

Blessings for the Day to Encourage your Life and Bring You Joy!

Joyous Christmas Blessings,
