Today, as I was exercising, a praise song came on... πππI walk by faith, each step by faith; to live by faith, I put my trust in You.πππ My daily walk is not only about keeping fit but drawing me closer to HIM. He wants to be our comfort and peace.
God laid on my heart to share this with you all today. I just intended to do my favorite go-to shoes for every day that are comfortable, fun, and enjoyable to wear. But, God showed me that, like those Skechers that I put on every day to work out, He wants to be our comfort. He wants us to have fun and abundant joy in The Lord!
The kinds of shoes we wear determine our comfort, speed, charisma, and journey for the day. An uncomfortable pair of shoes can ruin your day, much like a life without Christ! I pray for as many of you that read this blog post that you not only find some cute shoes but the shoes God has designed for your life. For when the times get hard, we need a good pair of shoes for the journey ahead of us. I have all kinds of shoes... sandals, heels, boots, etc., but if I had to choose a pair for a long journey, I would choose my Skecher shoes. Our journey of faith deserves the best shoes! Good soul in my heart to keep me close to the Lord and good soles on my feet, both keeping me steady and strong each day! So walking by faith with each step, and living by faith and putting our trust in HIM will not only build your relationship with Christ but help you achieve HIS greatness every day.

I wanted to include this story about Steph Curry in my Blessings for the Day. I am not an avid basketball game watcher, but I was taken by Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry story and strong faith in the Lord. If you ever paid attention to Curry’s sneakers, you may have seen “I can do all things” written in Sharpie on his shoes. The words come from Philippians 4:13, and Curry has been writing the Bible verse on his sneakers ever since his college days. It is what drives him to do his best! And isn't that what God wants us to do, to give and be our best? Yes, of course!!!
