Build New Routines in 2024

Today's blog post is all about wellness finds for our minds and health to start the new year.

How is your week going so far? We are bracing for snow and an arctic blast this weekend. I guess we are due since we have had above temperatures; it is January, after all.

Since we are going to be stuck inside, I decided to share some ways to get closer to God and take care of our temples that HE gave us.

If you’re looking for some home workouts, I follow Christ Glorified Fitness on Instagram and YouTube. Christina Arroyas is an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Trainer who loves JESUS!!! She wants to inspire us to stay active for the Lord physically & spiritually. I love how she incorporates scripture with her workouts. I always feel uplifted after working out with her.

Blessed New Year 2024!

Happy New Year, everyone! As we look to a new year and season full of so many opportunities, I think of my hopes and dreams, especially my prayers for 2024. I pray for God's peace, hope, and joy for you all in this new year HE has blessed us with! And for each of us to see the life-changing message of God's love. Christmas may be over and tucked away until next winter, but we can open our hearts to celebrate Jesus all year long!

Our family always likes to take DaySpring's Word of the Year Quiz to find our 2023 Word of the Year - just one word to help us focus on what God calls us to accomplish in the year ahead. My word for the year was Trust, which reminds me of an old hymn dear to my heart...

Trust and obey, for there's no other way To be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey

Oh, Trust and obey, for there's no other way To be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey

And 'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus Just to take Him at His Word, Just to rest upon His promise, Just to know, "Thus saith the Lord."

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I've proved Him o'er and o'er Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! Oh, for grace to trust Him more.

With Scripture, God gives us the answers we crave as we cling to HIS hope. So, let's turn to HIS Word as we focus on a direction for the next twelve months rather than resolutions that only last a few days. Let's look to the Lord for help to live our faith in 2024.

I heard this new song yesterday on KLOVE from Katy Nichole, "My God Can." This song reminds us even though we might not be able to conquer all, there is still hope in Jesus! So, when we feel weak, God is strong! God never fails! With God, all is possible; when we can't, God can! The song is based on Phillipian 4:13. Celebrating Candace Cameron Bure's Big News!!!

Happy Friday, Everyone! I hope you've had a productive week and now you'll have a relaxing wonderful weekend ahead. I'm sure many of you have heard the exciting news that Candace Cameron Bure has decided to join the GAC Family & GAC Living, to create and produce movies that are family-friendly, faith-filled, and Christmas, of course! I was so excited to see this news for Candace and GAC! I can't wait to see what they both have in store for all of us! Hallmark has taken a direction that many, including myself, have been disheartened about for a while.

I believe this new venture for Candace will allow her to share her deep faith with the Lord on our small screens and share Jesus with everyone. While many of us fans are eager to see what is to come with her on GAC, it will also be sad not to see more Aurora Teagarden Mysteries. Maybe, just maybe, GAC will bring the mysteries to their channel, too. (A girl can hope, right?) Unfortunately, there are many mysteries that have already been canceled on Hallmark that I would like to see come back. I suspect many of you feel the same!

I truly believe GAC will be a great fit for Candace and her brand at Dayspring. To celebrate her big news, I wanted to share with you all some of her new products and some of my favorites from her line at Dayspring. See below. Plus, these would be great Mother's Day, Graduation gifts, or Birthday Gifts!
